Bapcor names Andrew Fraser as non-executive director

The news: Bapcor has appointed Andrew Fraser as a non-executive independent director, effective 1 July.

The context: Fraser currently chairs the Bank of Queensland and Orange Sky Australia, serves as president of Motorsports Australia, and is a non-executive director of Brisbane Broncos.

Having previously chaired the Australian Retirement Trust until November 2025, the Bapcor board said it is satisfied that his prior association will not impede his independent judgement to act in the best interest of all shareholders.

What they said: “Having grown up in the automotive industry and currently involved in the racing part of the industry, the opportunity to be part of restoring the significant potential of Bapcor is exciting,” Fraser said.
