Allens names Marc Kemp as new managing partner
The head of the firm’s superannuation practice will take over from Richard Spurio, who has been managing partner for 10 years.
The nation’s oldest law firm Allens has appointed Marc Kemp as its new managing partner.
Kemp, who heads the firm’s Funds, Superannuation & Financial Services practice, will take over from Richard Spurio, who retires as managing partner on June 30 after 10 years in the job.
Sydney-based Kemp has been at Allens for almost 20 years, and a partner since 2012. He is also a member of the firm’s executive leadership team.
He beat a field that included Gavin Smith (corporate), Tim Stewart (banking and finance) and Jacqueline Downes (competition, consumer and regulatory).
