Anduril joins defence giants at Christopher Pyne's lobbying shop

The Liberal Party's decisive defeat in May has done nothing to slow the growth of Pyne & Partners, which has signed several big name clients in 2025.

The Coalition's thumping defeat in May has not harmed former Liberal MP and minister Christopher Pyne's lobbying outfit, which is enjoying a banner year.

Pyne & Partners has signed several big-name clients this year, Attorney-General’s lobbyist register shows, including Palmer Luckey's defence disruptor Anduril, Japan's Ex-Fusion nuclear fusion startup, and $24 billion Vietnamese conglomerate VinGroup.

Of the 50 companies listed as customers of Pyne & Partners, 20 were added to the registry this year — 11 of which were after the election. The newest names on the list, added July 17, include Andrew and Nicola Forrest's Tattarang investment group and Flinders University.

Tattarang said the company contracted Pyne & Partners for work last year but it is no longer a client. Anduril confirmed it works with Pyne & Partners.
