First came the AI boom. Now come the AI auditors.
Businesses rushing to adopt generative AI in their workflows face significant risks — including from inaccuracy. Fortifai aims to measure this.
Deep fakes, misinformation and “hallucinations” are among the biggest concerns most people have when it comes to generative artificial intelligence.
However, for organisations with a pragmatic business mindset the challenges of AI may be more prosaic, but just as significant.
“If an insurance company's using AI and calculating its data and it's off by 1%, that has an enormous effect on users and stakeholders of all kinds,” says Fletcher Roberts, a director of AI auditors Fortifai.
“There is a huge amount of risk in terms of accuracy and alignment, aligning with compliance and the business's goals.”
