Foxtel racing to lock in Apple TV+ ahead of Hubbl launch

Foxtel has signed up Netflix, 9Now and 7Plus for its streaming aggregator, but some big names are missing just weeks out from launch.

Apple TV+, home to Killers of the Flower Moon (pictured) and breakout TV shows like Ted Lasso, has yet to sign up to Foxtel's new service. AP/Apple TV+.

Pay TV operator Foxtel is moving to square away the last of its carriage agreements with major streaming services ahead of the launch of its new aggregation product, Hubbl, next month.

The News Corp-controlled provider has yet to secure an agreement with Apple for the inclusion of AppleTV+ on the new platform, and is still in talks with Paramount over the inclusion of both Paramount+ and 10Play on the service, sources familiar with the talks told Capital Brief. Apple and Paramount declined to comment.

However, Foxtel has signed up market leader Netflix, along with Seven West Media's 7Plus and Nine Entertainment's 9Now for the platform, sources said.

Nine's subscription streaming service, Stan, is expected to join months after the product goes to market, the sources added.
