Humm Group receives spill meeting notice amid trading spike intrigue

Activist shareholders Raper Capital and Collins Street Asset Management have issued Humm Group a formal notice to call a shareholder meeting to consider its spill motion.

Jeremy Raper, founder and chief investment officer at Raper Capital, told Capital Brief the letter was delivered to the buy now, pay later company this afternoon, with the meeting slated for 19 February 2026 at the earliest.

The notice was issued under section 249F of the Corporations Act, which allows a group of shareholders holding at least 5% of a company's voting rights to requisition and call their own extraordinary general meeting of shareholders, without requiring the board's approval.

Raper Capital and Collins Street hold a combined position of 8.6% in Humm, according to recent ASX filings.
