M&A rebound tipped as insolvencies spike, PE firms deploy dry powder
After a painfully slow 12 months, dealmakers expect their fortunes are finally turning around as markets shake out.
The market may finally be turning for mergers and acquisitions activity, as enormous financial pressure and growing economic certainty create new business opportunities.
After a flat 12 months, virtual deal room company Ansarada says it expects to see green shoots emerging as economic conditions drive deal activity be necessity.
"The latter half of this year we will hopefully see a lot of these transactions get over the line and into market," chief revenue officer Justin Smith told Capital Brief.
"Some of those will be restructures and insolvencies which could see some good assets reinvigorate the Australian market."
