ANZ has made sweeping cuts to the team behind its billion-dollar ANZ Plus consumer app as chief executive Nuno Matos moves to decisively end the bank's contentious two tech platform strategy.
Leaked internal correspondence viewed by Capital Brief shows the big four bank has made several senior changes to the team that built ANZ Plus, which has been rebranded internally as 'Digital Channels'.
Tara Bourne, who had been the ANZ Plus chief product officer, will depart after more than 18 years with the bank.
Exiting alongside her is senior digital transformation executive Danielle Curry, ANZ Plus head of strategy and performance Matt O’Grady, general manager of retail brokers and third parties Scott Radburn, retail deposits product manager Anna Ng and product area lead Janine Callinder.
