Adobe recruits ex-Airbnb chief information officer Lucius DiPhillips

The news: Adobe has appointed Lucius DiPhillips as its new chief information officer. He most recently worked at Airbnb where he served in the same role for nearly six years.

The context: DiPhillips will lead Adobe’s global Technology Services team which is focused on the company’s digital transformation and technology underpinning its AI offerings.

DiPhillips spent nearly eight years at Airbnb and was chief information officer between July 2020 and December 2025. He has held senior roles at eBay, PayPal, Bank of America and General Electric.

What they said: “Adobe’s commitment to AI-powered innovation and trust creates powerful opportunities to apply technology in meaningful, scalable ways,” DiPhillips said.

“I look forward to working closely with teams across the company to build upon our digital foundation and support Adobe’s next phase of growth.”
