Ansell appoints Brian Montgomery as CFO

The news: Healthcare equipment manufacturer Ansell has appointed Brian Montgomery as its chief financial officer, following the retirement of Zubair Javeed in October.

The context: Montgomery most recently served as chief strategy officer at US health technology company GE Healthcare. Prior to that, he served as GE Healthcare's acting CFO after a number of executive roles across Europe and the US.

Montgomery will start in the role on 14 April, based in Ansell's New Jersey office.
