The news: Ansell CEO Neil Salmon will retire from the healthcare equipment manufacturer after 13 years with the company.
Salmon, who was appointed CEO in 2021, will be replaced by former Fiskars Group boss Nathalie Ahlström.
The context: Ahlström will join Ansell to begin a transition period on 26 January, succeeding Salmon on 16 February. She will be based out of Ansell's Brussels hub in Belgium.
Salmon will continue as a special adviser to the board and to Ahlström until 30 June.
What they said: "Neil has played a pivotal role over his 13 years with Ansell and, as CEO, in creating the foundations of the company's recent success," said Ansell chair Nigel Garrard.
"Results can be seen in strong organic growth in difficult market conditions, improved productivity and success implementing the company's long term sustainability strategy."
