The context: The arrest took place on Saturday local time, after the 49-year-old suspect driving an SUV was stopped by deputies assigned to the Trump rally in Coachella, east of Los Angeles, the Riverside County Sheriff's Department said.
The man, who is a resident of Las Vegas, was arrested on suspicion of possessing a loaded firearm and possession of a high-capacity magazine.
