Australian Data Centres acquires Canberra campus
The news: Australian Data Centres (ADC) has announced the acquisition of a new data centre campus in Canberra in a bid to expand its digital footprint across Australia.
The context: ADC CEO, Mark Pont said the acquisition strengthens the ability to meet Australia's increasing demand for high-availability digital services facilities certified under the 'Strategic Housing Certification Framework'.
What they said: ADC executive chairman, Rob Kelly said "we are tightly focused on opportunities to scale sovereign data centres and AI factory footprints to meet the needs of customers and Australia’s national capability".
