The news: Bellevue Gold has recorded production of 41,643 ounces of gold in the June quarter, up from 40,745 ounces the prior quarter, bringing annual production to 145,539 ounces to finish within its guided range, supported by consistent mine grades.

The numbers: The annual production landed in the top half of its previously guided output of between 130,000 and 150,000 ounces. FY26 gold production was sold at an average all-in sustaining cost (AISC) of $2,827 per ounce, within the guided AISC range of $2,600 to $2,900 per ounce.

Non-sustaining capital expenditure for the financial year reached $113.3 million, landing within the previously tracked guidance range of $105 million to $115 million.

Underlying free cashflow during the quarter was lower at $110 million, down from $158 million in the prior quarter due to lower average spot gold prices and higher capital expenditures. Total cash and gold bullion on hand rose quarter-on-quarter to $206 million as of 30 June, up from $181 million.

The context: CEO Darren Stralow stated that the steady June quarter performance was driven by consistent mine grades. This reflects Bellevue’s mine which is now established and operating across five long-term mining areas, alongside the resumption of underground and surface exploration during the period.

The company has lifted its FY27 production guidance to between 150,000 ounces and 170,000 ounces at an AISC of between $2,800 and $3,100 per ounce, with exploration expenditure guided at between $25 million to $30 million.
