Boral names Stefan Camphausen as replacement after CFO resigns

The news: Construction materials supplier Boral has named former Bapcor finance head Stefan Camphausen as its next CFO after incumbent Belinda Shaw announced her resignation.

The numbers: Shaw, who has been Boral chief financial officer for just over a year, said she had made the decision to step down “after considerable reflection” and in the best interest of her young family.

The context: Boral CEO Vik Bansal said the group had explored various options over the past couple of months to help keep Shaw in the role. Her exit will pave the way for the appointment of Camphausen, whose resignation from auto parts provider Bapcor was announced on Wednesday. He is expected to join Boral latest by July, with Shaw to continue in the role until then.
