Capricorn Metals to divest Nevada gold project for $26m
The news: Capricorn Metals has entered into a binding agreement to divest its Nevada-based Big Springs Gold project to Sentinel Metals, valued at up to $26 million.
The context: The project hosts an existing mineral resource estimated at 15.5 million tonnes and is fully permitted for both open cut and underground mining operations. The asset originally became part of Capricorn’s portfolio following its acquisition of Warriedar Resources in 2025.
The transaction is subject to shareholder approval, regulatory conditions and Sentinel successfully completing a minimum $15 million in capital raising, of which $3 million will be contributed by Capricorn.
