Dicker Data co-founder David Dicker steps aside after 47 years
The news: Dicker Data CEO, chair and co-founder David Dicker is stepping down after 47 years at the helm of the computer hardware and software distributor to “pursue other interests”.
The context: Dicker will stay on as a consultant for another six months to provide strategic advice.
The company’s other co-founder, Fiona Brown, will move from her non-executive director role into an executive chair role.
COO Vladimir Mitnovetski, CFO Mary Stojcevski and CIO Ian Welch will report to Brown.
What they said: “Co-founding and leading Dicker Data has been an extraordinary journey, and I am incredibly proud of what we’ve built together,” Dicker said.
"As I embark on new ventures, I have full confidence that the leadership team what we put together some years ago will continue to drive the company forward with the same passion and dedication.
