The news: Domino’s Pizza Enterprises has announced that non-executive director Lynda O’Grady has stepped down, effective immediately, after more than a decade on the board.

The context: O’Grady has been on the Domino’s board since April 2015 and has served on the audit and risk committee, the nomination, culture and remuneration committee, the finance committee and the independent board committee.

The search for a new independent non-executive director is “well progressed, with an announcement expected in the near term”, according to the company.

Previous executive roles held by O’Grady include Telstra chief of product and Australian Consolidated Press’ commercial director. She currently serves on the board of Rubicon Water.
