Domino’s promotes Kerri Hayman to ANZ top job
The news: Domino’s Pizza Enterprises has promoted Kerri Hayman to the chief executive role for Australia and New Zealand, effective immediately.
The numbers: Hayman, who is group CEO Don Meij's sister, took over as chief operating officer of the ANZ business in 2023. She has previously worked for the Domino’s brand internationally for 14 years, including as the operations director for UK-listed Domino’s Pizza Group and as a 14-store franchisee in the US.
The context: The company said Don Meij has been serving in the dual role of group CEO and ANZ CEO for the past year and Hayman’s promotion will allow him to spend more time in Domino’s international markets.
The fast food chain, which has faced narrowing margins amid a challenging economic environment, last month announced it would close up to 80 low volume stores in Japan, another 20 to 30 stores in France, following a year-long strategic review.
What they said: “We are confident we have the right leadership for the future, and with Kerri’s appointment, the best person for the job," Domino’s chair Jack Cowin said.
