DXN shares jump on $2m DP World data centre contract
The news: Prefabricated modular data centre provider DXN has seen its share price lift after announcing it secured a $2 million contract with logistics software multinational DP World.
The numbers: Shares in small-cap DXN were up 16.76% to $0.03 after announcing its deal to deliver two custom modular data centres to DP World for use in Port Botany, New South Wales.
The context: The systems are expected to be delivered in the latter half of Q3 in calendar year 2025. DXN will design, engineer, prefabricate, deliver, and fit out the two modular data centre and back up systems for DP World.
What they said: "We are proud to be selected by DP World to deliver this critical infrastructure for their Port Botany facility in New South Wales," DXN chief executive and managing director Shalini Lagrutta said.
"This project demonstrates our capability to support customers in high-demand, operationally sensitive environments with reliable and scalable modular data centre solution."
