The news: Elanor Investors Group shareholders have voted to change the company’s name to Kyron Capital Group at an extraordinary general meeting at the same time as Group Funds Management was appointed as the new responsible entity of the fund.

The context: The group, which will be composed of the renamed Kyron Capital Limited and Kyron Investment Fund will see its ASX ticker code change from ENN to KYN.

Elanor previously entered voluntary suspension in August 2024 as it looked to stabilise its financial position but was reinstated on 11 June 2026.

The fund was also previously embroiled in a public battle with the Lederer Group over its Elanor Commercial Property Fund. In February, Elanor terminated its management agreement for the fund after it was removed as the responsible entity.

A further announcement will be made to the exchange once corporate regulator ASIC has recorded the change of responsible entity, the company name change has taken effect and ASX changes the listed staple group’s name and ticker.
