Elders chair Ian Wilton retires, non-exec director Glenn Davis picked as successor

The news: Agribusiness Elders has announced that Ian Wilton will step down as chair on 31 October and retire as a non-executive director later in the year.

The context: Wilton — who was first appointed to the board in 2014 before being elected chair in 2019 — will be replaced by Glenn Davis on 1 November.

Davis joined the Elders board in September last year as a non-executive director. He has served on the boards of other ASX listed companies including Beach Energy and SkyCity Entertainment.

Elders also appointed Stephanie Nixon as a non-executive director, effective 1 October. Nixon has previously held senior executive positions with Compass Group Australia and Lion.
