Equity Trustees director Glenn Sedgwick to depart
The news: Equity Trustees has announced that non-executive director Glenn Sedgwick will retire from the role at its next annual general meeting which is scheduled for 30 October 2025.
The numbers: At 3:50pm AEST, shares in EQT Holdings had fallen 1% top $33.14.
The context: Sedgwick joined the board in August 2016 and led its annual strategy update programme.
He was also a member of the audit committee and the Equity Trustees’ responsible entity compliance committee.
Sedgwick has also been a director of the Victorian Managed Insurance Authority since November 2019.
What they said: “Glenn has been a great colleague and asset to our Board over his period of service — his experience and insights into transformation, strategy and digital have been invaluable as we have pursued our growth agenda,” EQT chair Carol Schwartz said.
“His ability to bring new perspectives, and challenge existing ideas brought an energy that contributed to a productive and thoughtful board culture.”
