Firmus appoints three new board directors

The news: AI factory startup Firmus has added a trio of new non-executive directors as it gears up for an ASX listing later this year.

The context: The Singapore-based company has appointed Lee Hatton, Christine Bartlett and Julie Shuttleworth to its board.

Hatton served on Xero’s board from 2014 to 2023, and has held executive roles at NAB, Suncorp, Afterpay and Block, where she currently leads the company’s global financial operations.

Bartlett is currently chair of NSW Ports and CEDA, having held CEO and senior executive roles at IBM, NAB and Jones Lang LaSalle.

Shuttleworth has held senior leadership roles at mining giant Fortescue, where she served as deputy CEO and CEO of Fortescue Future Industries.
