Generation Development Group adds Colonial First State exec Shenaz Waples to board

The news: Generation Development Group has appointed Colonial First State executive Shenaz Waples as an independent non-executive director, with immediate effect.

The context: Waples is currently group executive for people and culture at wealth manager Colonial First State, having previously held senior human resources leadership roles at MLC Australia and Westpac.

Her previous board experience includes the Women's Community Shelters and MLC Wealth.

GDG also announced that Bill Bessemer will retire as a non-executive director at the company's annual general meeting on 20 November after 13 years on the board.
