GQG shares fall as it flags CFO retirement
More news: GQG Partners shares dropped as it flagged that its chief financial officer Melodie Zakaluk would retire next year.
GQG shares fell 2.56% to $2.28 by 11:31am AEDT, while the wider financial sector fell 0.44%.
Zakaluk has been GQG’s CFO since 2016 and will step down on 1 January 2026.

The news: Fund manager GQG Partners has announced that its long-serving chief financial officer Melodie Zakaluk will retire on 1 January 2026.
The numbers: Zakaluk joined GQG as CFO in 2016, following leadership roles at Seattle-based investment firms Rainier Investment Management and Russell Investments.
The context: GQG said Zakaluk will remain as CFO for the rest of the calendar year to ensure a smooth transition with her successor, who has yet to be appointed.
What they said: "I want to express my deepest gratitude for Melodie's dedication, acumen and tireless work ethic over her nine years at GQG," said GQG chief executive Tim Carver.
"She has been instrumental in every step of our development from a true start-up, through our IPO in the global, listed company we are today."
