Growthpoint Properties chief financial officer Dion Andrews stepping down
The news: The chief financial officer of property investment firm Growthpoint Properties Australia, Dion Andrews, is stepping down after 15 years in the role.
The numbers: At 10:58am AEST, shares in Growthpoint had slipped 0.4% to $2.50.
The context: Andrews will stay in the role until the release of Growthpoint’s results for financial year 2025 on 14 August and “will be available as needed following that to support a smooth transition”, according to a company statement to the exchange.
Executive search and management consulting firm Spencer Stuart has been engaged to search for a new chief financial officer.
What they said: “Dion has made significant contributions to Growthpoint’s success over his 15-year tenure. He has played a pivotal role leading the finance team and in the growth of Growthpoint’s portfolio from $744 million to $5.4 billion assets under management,” Growthpoint chief executive and managing director Ross Lees said.
