I-MED Radiology to acquire Radiology Group
The news: I-MED Radiology has announced it will acquire the business of Radiology Group.
The context: Radiology Group is an independent doctor partnership with clinicians across Greater Western Sydney and the Hunter Region.
I-MED described the acquisition as “highlight complementary”, particularly as it progresses plans for a “targeted expansion of PET and MRI services across Western Sydney and the Hunter region”.
I-MED currently operates 209 clinics in Australia and New Zealand. It also provides teleradiology support to more than two million patients annually across Australia and New Zealand as well as the US.
What they said: “We’re delighted to welcome Radiology Group and its doctor cohort to I-MED,” I-MED CEO Shrey Viranna said.
“Their decision to join our network reflects a shared belief in the power of collaboration, supported by strong digital capability, meaningful clinical insights and the opportunity to grow within a connected business that respects and preserves clinical autonomy.”
