The news: IDP Education has appointed Tracey Horton as its new chair and will commence in the role on 16 June.
The context: Horton replaces Peter Polson who will retire from the board on 15 June. Polson has been chair since 2007.
Horton’s executive and board career spans corporate strategy, international operations, finance, governance and the education industry. She has been an independent non-executive director of IDP since September 2022.
Horton is also a non-executive director of GPT Group, IMDEX and Bhagwan Marine.
