IGO appoints Ian Rowe as interim chief financial officer

The news: IGO has appointed Ian Rowe as its interim chief financial officer, effective immediately, after serving the company for almost five years.

The context: Rowe previously served as the general manager of finance for the mining company and brings vast experience in the resources sector and financial reporting, both domestically and internationally.

The board will provide further updates regarding a permanent appointment, as Rowe’s placement has been made on an interim basis.

What they said: “Ian is respected, values-driven leader who is well positioned to support the company as we continue to execute our strategy,” CEO Ivan Vella said.

“Ian has been an important part of our succession planning, and this appointment reflects the board’s confidence in his leadership,” he added.
