Incitec Pivot CFO Paul Victor to depart
The news: Incitec Pivot's chief financial officer Paul Victor will depart from the fertilisers and explosives group in February.
The context: Incitec Pivot said that Victor will continue as CFO until 15 February 2025 to deliver the company's FY24 results and to support the transition while an executive search for his replacement takes place.
Victor had been acting as the group's CEO since the abrupt exit of Jeanne Johns in June 2023. He returned to the CFO role in January following the appointment of permanent CEO and managing director Mauro Neves.
What they said: "Since joining in July 2022, Paul has played an important role in positioning [Incitec Pivot] for future successes," Neves said.
"Paul's key achievements include his leadership of the successful sale of the Waggaman ammonium nitrate facility, implementation of [Incitec Pivot]'s capital allocation framework to underpin our commitment to strong financial discipline, and leading the business through a period of transition as interim CEO."
