Infratil gains $32m on CDC revaluation
The news: Infrastructure investor Infratil's part-owned data centre developer CDC has seen a $77 million increase in its valuation over the last three months, according to a new independent valuation.
The numbers: CDC's new valuation stands at $13.6 billion, with Infratil's 49.72% interest valued at $6.78 billion, up $32 million from $6.75 billion at 30 June.
The context: Infratil said the key drivers of the valuation change were "minor operational and business plan updates" since June 2025, and adjustments in the valuation approach applied by a new independent valuer.
Infratil said it expects to commit a further $250 million to CDC's development pipeline within the next six months to support continued growth.
The company — which hiked its stake in CDC in February — confirmed that the data centre developer had secured 100 megawatts of new contracted capacity last month.
