Inghams names Grant Douglas as new chief financial officer

The news: Inghams Group has appointed Grant Douglas as chief financial officer, effective October, succeeding Gary Mallett.

The context: Douglas has over 25 years of experience across senior finance leadership roles, having previously served as the CFO of Brickworks. He also worked in Deloitte’s audit and assurance practice for 14 years.

What they said: “His breadth and depth of experience make him ideally placed to take on this important role as we execute and deliver our next phase of growth,” CEO Edward Alexander said.

“Grant’s track record in listed environments and disciplined capital allocation will be critical as we sharpen our focus on earnings quality, consistency and returns,” he added.
