Inghams names Matthew Easton as new CEO of New Zealand business
The news: Poultry producer Inghams has named Matthew Easton as the new head of its New Zealand business, replacing Edward Alexander.
The numbers: Easton, who has worked at Inghams since 2015 and is currently its New Zealand general manager for sales and marketing, will step into the role from 10 March.
The context: The move comes after Inghams announced in December that Alexander would become the group’s next CEO, when incumbent Andrew Reeves retires on 30 June. The company is Australia and New Zealand’s largest poultry producer.
