IPH chief executive Andrew Blattman to retire

The news: Intellectual property services business IPH has announced that its managing director and CEO Andrew Blattman intends to retire in the second half of 2026.

The context: Blattman was appointed to the top job at IPH in November 2017 after spending more than 22 years at rival Spruson & Ferguson. The board will commence an internal and external search for a replacement.

What they said: “Under Andrew’s guidance, IPH has grown significantly, expanding throughout Asia with new offices in Indonesia, Thailand, Hong Kong, Beijing, and the Philippines, and more recently entering the Canadian market through the acquisitions of Smart & Biggar, Ridout & Maybee, ROBIC, and Bereskin & Parr,” IPH chair Peter Warne said.
