JANA makes two internal appointments for Investment Trusts team

The news: JANA Investment Advisors has selected Claire Simpson as the consultancy’s head of investments, Investment Trusts, and David Schnell as head of diversified portfolios, Investment Trusts.

The context: Simpson, who joined the company in 2010, will lead the strategic direction of the JANA Investment Trusts, focusing on performance and client outcomes. She joins the Investment Trust team after serving as co-head of the firm’s Infrastructure Research. Schnell joined JANA in 2017, and will transition from his position as senior investment consultant to head of Diversified Portfolios.
