The news: Bus and ferry operator Kelsian Group chief executive and managing director Clint Feuerherdt will step down in April 2025, with the US business head Graeme Legh promoted to the role.

The numbers: Feuerherdt, who has been CEO for the last five years, will assume a part-time role as strategic adviser from 1 April.

Legh has worked with Kelsian for the last 15 years, including as CEO of Kelsian’s US division, All Aboard America! Holdings Inc (AAAHI) since September 2023.

The context: Kelsian said Feuerherdt requested to step back from his executive role to better support his young family and wife who also has a significant career. He will focus his skills and deep company and industry knowledge on various parts of Kelsian where there is opportunity to increase shareholder value.

His successor Legh has previously served as Kelsian’s chief development officer responsible for the management and execution of tenders, acquisitions, mergers and divestments.

Kelsian, formerly called SeaLink Travel Group, said the succession news coincides with the recent announcement of the review of capital management and allocation, and portfolio review.
