Liontown inks deal with Canmax Technologies

The news: Liontown has inked a two-year execution deal with lithium-ion battery company Canmax Technologies for its spodumene concentration delivery.

The numbers: Canmax Technologies will supply 150,000 wet metric tonnes of spodumene concentrate per year over 2027 and 2028.

The context: This agreement aligns with Liontown's existing agreement with its Tier-1 customers as part of its approach to diversifying its customer based by geography and location on the battery value chain.

What they said: Liontown's managing director and CEO Tony Ottaviano said "securing sales linked to spodumene concentrate indices ensures we realise fair value for the product we produce".

Shares in Liontown were down by 0.99% to $1.50 as of 10:41am AEDT.
