Lisa McIntyre to leave Nanosonics board
The news: Experienced healthcare and medical technology non-executive Lisa McIntyre will not seek re-election to the board of disinfection technology provider Nanosonics at its annual general meeting on 5 November.
The context: McIntyre joined the board in December 2019 and has served as the chair of the innovation and development committee since January 2023.
Fellow Nanosonics director and former CSIRO CEO Larry Marshall will serve as the next chair of the innovation and development committee from 5 November.
Other medical technology boards McIntyre sits on are women’s health-focused medical technology company Baymatob and Fisher & Paykel Healthcare. She is also senate fellow and pro chancellor of the University of Sydney, co-chair of Women for Change Australia and non-executive director of e-learning company Studiosity.
What they said: “Her deep healthcare expertise combined with her strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, have been defining aspects of her tenure. Lisa has been laser focused on patient outcomes and long-term shareholder value,” Nanosonics chair Steve Sargent said.
