MA Financial’s credit portfolio holdings to list floating rate notes on ASX
The news: MA Financial subsidiary MA Credit Portfolio Holdings has proposed to offer floating rate notes that will be listed on the ASX, with a pathfinder prospectus already lodged with the Australian Securities and Investments Commission.
The context: The floating rate notes will also be secured, deferrable and redeemable. A syndicate of brokers have already been engaged to facilitate a potential transaction.
Interested parties will need to get a copy of the prospectus when it is made available and complete an application with their broker or financial adviser to subscribe for the notes.
MA Financial also noted that it is in exclusive due diligence to acquire Hyperdome Town Centre in Loganholme, south-east Queensland. It has been earmarked for “a single high net worth syndicate”, with vendors and investor discussions well progressed.
It was previously reported that MA Financial's IP Generation business has agreed to buy the shopping centre from QIC Real Estate for nearly $700 million.
