Macquarie's David Baldwin joins Genesis Energy board

The news: New Zealand-based diversified energy business Genesis Energy has appointed Macquarie Asset Management senior managing director David Baldwin to its board, effective 1 October.
The context: Baldwin will need to run for election at Genesis Energy’s annual shareholder meeting on 16 October 2025.
Baldwin has spent more than eight years at Macquarie and is currently operating partner at Macquarie Asset Management. He also has non-executive director positions at Macquarie Asset Management portfolio companies Energy Development Corporation in the Philippines and Cyrq Energy in the US.
He has previously been Origin Energy’s integrated gas chief executive, Contact Energy’s chief executive and managing director and a senior vice president at Berkshire Hathaway.
