Medibank targets health segment earnings of $200m by 2030
The news: Health insurer Medibank has unveiled fresh growth ambitions, targeting a minimum of $200 million in annual earnings from its health segment by FY30.
The numbers: The new target would see health segment earnings climb from $76.7 million reported in FY25.
Medibank also said it aims to double the number of people it engages with their health and wellbeing to around 100 million by the end of the decade, and grow policyholder market share each year from 26.5% to at least 26.8% by FY30.
What they said: "Over the last decade, we have invested more than $300 million to grow as a health company," said CEO David Koczkar.
"We will remain focused on delivering for our customers and long-term value for our shareholders by accelerating our growth strategy, and today we have set out some very clear milestones alongside a new ambition."
