MinRes to offer $1b of senior unsecured notes
The news: Mineral Resources has announced plans to offer up to USD700 million ($1.06 billion) of senior unsecured notes, due in 2031.
The numbers: MinRes shares lifted 1.2% to $39.34 at midday AEST. The stock is up 7.2% over the last 12 months.
The context: MinRes said it intends to use the cash proceeds from the offering to refinance its existing USD700 million senior unsecured notes, due in May 2027.
The offer remains subject to market and other conditions, the company said.
