Monadelphous shares soar on upbeat revenue guidance

More news: Engineering group Monadelphous was the top performer on the ASX 200 after guiding for a 43% jump in first-half revenue, and a 20-25% uptick in revenue for the 2026 financial year.

Monadelphous shares were up 8.4% to $24.40 at 10:55am AEDT, taking 12-month gains to 92%.

RBC Capital Markets analyst Nicholas Daish said the "key" update from this morning's announcement was heightened activity reported within Monadelphous' engineering construction division, due to its higher margin.

Monadelphous expects 43% uplift in first-half revenue

The news: Engineering company Monadelphous Group is expecting a 43% jump in first-half revenue compared to the prior corresponding period, after securing a record level of work in the previous financial year.

The numbers: The group has forecasted first-half revenue of $1.5 billion, up from $1.05 billion in the prior corresponding period. It also expects full-year revenue to be around 20-25% higher than the previous year.

The context: Monadelphous said it has experienced strong operating conditions throughout the first four months of the 2026 financial year, with elevated activity levels across the business.

The company noted that demand for engineering construction services has been strong, with a larger revenue contribution from vertically integrated construction projects.

Monadelphous' recent acquisition of Kerman Contracting has further broadened its revenue base, it said.
