Monadelphous secures $110m contract on renewable energy with BW Offshore
The news: Perth-based engineering company Monadelphous Group has secured a four-year contract worth $110 million in aggregate with BW Offshore Australia to provide maintenance services at the BW Opal floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) facility in the Northern Territory. The project is expected to commence in the first quarter of 2026.
The context: Monadelphous has been given the new construction and maintenance contract in the resources and renewable energy sector with BW Offshore Australia.
The company also announced a contract with Rio Tinto for modification works on the Hope Downs 2 Project in Western Australia, as well as a contract with Santos for the demolition and disposal of the Hegigio Pipeline Bridge in the Southern Highlands in Papua New Guinea. Both projects are expected to be completed in the second half of 2026.
The slew of contracts follows Monadelphous’ announcement on Tuesday of a $175 million construction contract with BHP for the Car Dumper Project in Western Australia.
