Monadelphous wins orders worth $150 million
The news: Engineering firm Monadelphous Group has been awarded new construction and maintenance contracts from Rio Tinto.
The numbers: The new contracts are valued at a total of $150 million.
The context: Monadelphous said these include a multidisciplinary construction contract for a replacement ammonium nitrate storage facility at Rio Tinto’s Brockman 4 mine in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. Work under the contract is expected to be completed in the first half of 2026.
It has also secured a three-year panel contract to provide water management works across Rio Tinto’s mine operations in the Pilbara.
