NextDC shares jump as pro forma contract utilisation hits 740MW
More news: Shares in NextDC rallied in afternoon trade after the enterprise tech provider boosted its pro forma contract utilisation by 11% to 740 megawatts.
Shares rose 4.1% to $13.59 at 12:16pm AEST.
NextDC’s pro forma contract utilisation lifts 11%
The news: NextDC’s pro forma contract utilisation lifted 11% to 740 megawatts as at the end of 30 June 2026, but the data centre company has not made any changes to previous FY26 guidance.
The numbers: NextDC’s pro forma forward orders book has increased to 565 megawatts, the difference between 740 megawatts pro forma contracted utilisation and 175 megawatts of billing utilisation at 30 June 2026.
The context: The company’s guidance for net revenue, underlying EBITDA and capex guidance remains unchanged from the last update on 20 April.
Since then, the company has raised $2.3 billion in senior debt facilities putting its total senior debt pool at $8.7 billion, according to a 10 July announcement.
