The news: Furniture retailer Nick Scali has appointed former mycar and Koala executive Keith Toms as chief financial officer and company secretary.
The context: Toms was most recently CFO of car services company mycar.
He was previously inaugural CFO of e-commerce startup Koala, following four years at beauty company Coty and more than a decade at Qantas.
