Paladin adds Templeman-Jones to board as audit chair-elect
The news: Uranium producer Paladin Energy has appointed Anne Templeman-Jones as an independent non-executive director.
The context: Templeman-Jones’ appointment is effective from today. An election by shareholders will be sought at the company’s annual general meeting.
Templeman-Jones is also a non-executive director at TCorp, Weebit Nano, MAC Copper and Trifork.
She started her career in audit and tax roles with PwC internationally and in Australia and her banking career included senior positions at ANZ Bank and Westpac. She has also had board roles at Commonwealth Bank, Worley, Blackmores, GUD and Citadel Group.
What they said: Paladin chair Cliff Lawrenson said: “Anne’s extensive knowledge of audit, risk, technology transformation and financing will be a real asset for the board and shareholders”.
“She will take a leadership role on the board in these areas as chair elect of our audit and risk committee, as well as contributing to the ongoing development of global strategy and compliance in multiple jurisdictions,” he said.
