Perenti secures $180m contract extension with Regis Resources

The news: Mining services provider Perenti has extended its existing contract with gold miner Regis Resources for work at its Duketon operations in Western Australia.
The numbers: Perenti expects to receive $180 million in additional contract value for the 12-month extension.
The initial agreement for underground mining services was announced in April 2024 and had a term of three years, with a mechanism to extend by a further 12-month period on a rolling basis.
The contract extension will see Perenti’s underground mining business Barminco deliver services at Duketon until at least 30 March 2029.
